To introduce more movement in to my work with cans I decided to examine the effect of spilling the liquid within them. To do this I set up a large sheet of canvas on the studio floor, filled a few cans with water and ink and proceeded to throw at the canvas from various angles, aiming them all a one particular point. This would mean that I would be able to capture more of each splash.
I really liked the effect that I got and enjoyed working on a bigger scale.
