After being briefly shown examples from the book "Slash" I was immediately drawn to Andreas Kocks work. I loved the scale of his work and how the size to make it seem so powerful, even though his main material is paper. Whole walls become covered in inky black splatters and rooms drown in raven waves.
My own feeble attempt in my sketchbook. I know Kocks captured movement a thousand times better than I did but it was only a first attempt.
