Taking rubbing from the coke cans was a good way to record the damage that had been done to them as one can clearly see fractured and cracked results. I wrapped pieces of paper tightly around a few of the cans and then used oil pastels to highlight the damage.
Then I scrunched the other pieces of paper around the sides and tops of the cans and also came up with interesting results.
