I took my blade to the coke cans to see what I could create. I decided just to cut vertical slits all around the cans. Once I started to experiment with them after they were cut, I distorted them into all kinds of shapes. The one I liked the most was Chinese lantern type shape.
I decided to recreate these type of shapes in my sketchbook, with paper, to represent the colour of the can and with tinfoil to represent the metal.
