Drawing from can Photos

From the series of photos I took of the cans I decided to make a drawing focusing mainly on the distorting lines.

 

I then decided to photocopy it and try some different things with it. First, I added colour.

Then I moved on from the idea of the colour of the can to the texture of it which I think represents the theme of my project more accurately. So, I folded the picture over on every line to see what kind of texture I would end up with.
